Dey File had Michael Moore married to Annaetje Day, daughter of Willem Day and Lourina Ackerman, but it seems unlikely that she married at 13 she has her first child in 1743). BC-Families Moore file has Michael poss. married to Antie Day, who married Adam Koning, but does state that the two Antjes cannot be identical! Either Anna's dob is wrong, or Michael Moore was married to a different Anna, maybe Anna Day, daughter of Jacob Day. This would fit with the sponsors for the first (sp. Annatje Ydes (Anna's mother)) and third (sp. Hester Deay (her sister), wife of Joseph Forbes) children.1,2,3

He was prosecuted as a Loyalist but eventually got to NYC where he joined the militia. In 1783 he removed to Montreal and spent the winter at Sorrel Island.
