     Arthur Joseph Mckeon Taylor was born on 16 July 1921 at North Bergen, Hudson County, NJ.² He married Kathleen Kress in 1947 at Union City, Hudson County, NJ, (St. Anastia Church.)²

     He was in St. Josephs orphanage for about two years. About 1933 he went to live with his mother at 124 Anderson Ave in Fairview NJ. He went to Lincoln school, He was in the elementary school Band.
     He graduated from Cliffside Park, NJ, High School, and entered the Army in 1941. Later he was an electrician for Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.² Name variation: Arthur Joseph McKeon.

     Austin J Taylor died in 1927.¹

     Benjamin Franklin Taylor was born in 1843.¹ He married Mary Brown.¹ Benjamin Franklin Taylor died in 1887.¹

     His father was Timothy Y. Taylor. There was an ancestral line without any dates: Timothy, Benjamin, Joseph, John, Richard, John, Anthony.¹

     Benjamin Maxwell Taylor was born on 24 March 1902 at North Bergen, Hudson County, NJ, (Acc. to Find-A-Grave, he was b. 28 Mar 1903 in Union City, NJ.)^1,2,3 He (1) married Marion Louise Shunk on 10 December 1921 at New York City (St. James ME Church) (Alternate place: Union City, NJ.)^4,5 Benjamin Maxwell Taylor (2) married Irene Elizabeth Peters, daughter of John Henry Peters and Catherine Little, on 9 April 1935 at Weehawken, Hudson County, NJ, (Alternate date March 1935.)^5,6 Benjamin Maxwell Taylor died on 7 July 1985 at Ormond Beach, FL.¹ He was cremated. The ashes were buried on 11 Jul 1985 at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.¹

     When Arthur died in 1931, Irene was left with four children and a mortgage on a house in Ridgefield Park NJ. The depression came and Irene could not keep up with raising her four children and working. She was forced to put the children into an orphanage, and she lived with her sister Catherine Peters Durham. She worked to get enough money to get the children out of the orphanage. The house she owed a mortgage on was insured by Prudential Insurance Co. Ben Taylor was an agent for Prudential Insurance Co and helped Irene get enough money together to open a candy store in Fairview, NJ, so she could be independent and not rely on a salary. Together they worked hard to make the store succeed. Ben was at the time married to a woman named Marion Shunk. They had one child named Marilyn. Ben divorced her about 1934 and in 1935 he married Irene and one by one took the children out of the orphanage, the oldest one first. The youngest one lived with Catherine Durham for a year.¹
     Benjamin adopted Irene's four children Arthur, Leroy and Raymond after they married.^5,2
     Marion Shunk was 17 when she married Benjamine. On the license it stated her as 17 and Benjamine as 21. My guess is that Marion's family approved of the marriage and Ben's family did not. Both were minors because Ben was really 17 and not 21. He lied about his age because his parents would not sign the release for him to get married. Also Ben lived in NJ and he claimed a NY address. Or it could be that the person writing the contract assumed he was 21.⁵

     Benjamine Taylor was born in June 1871 at Newtown, Bucks County, PA.¹ He married Charlotte Maxwell circa 1897 at New York City.¹ Benjamine Taylor died on 2 September 1908 at Union Hill, Hudson County, NJ, of tuberculosis.¹ He was buried on 5 September 1908 in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.¹

     Florence Alaine Taylor was born on 1 August 1900 at Union City, Hudson County, NJ.¹ She married Henry Charles Stubel circa 1921 at North Bergen, Hudson County, NJ.¹ Florence Alaine Taylor died on 2 June 1992 at Coronado Hospital, Coronado, San Diego County, CA.¹ She was cremated. The ashes were buried on 05 Jun 1992 at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.^1,2

     Florence and Henry Stubel had two children, Alvin (b1922) and Elaine (b.c. 1930). It is not known when she moved to California but I remember going to school with Elaine in 1945. Florence died in 1990 and was cremated and shipped to the Fairview Cemetery, where her mother Charlotte is also interred, as is Ben Taylor, and Ethel Taylor Singleton, Florence's sister. Florence's brother Benjamin died in 1985. Elaine Stubel Moore died about 6 months after her mother Florence, and was cremated and interred with her mother in the Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview NJ.³ Married name: Stubel.
