     Raymond enlisted in the US Navy during World War II and served aboard the destroyer USS Charles R Ware.¹ Raymond Clarence Hurd was a supervisor at Firth Carpet and Mohasco Carpet Company until he retired.¹

     Eliabeth Hurst was born on 31 July 1813 at Kentucky.¹ She married Aaron Gardner Jr., son of Aaron Gardner Sr. and Rachel Sutton, on 17 August 1835 at Fleming County, KY.¹ Eliabeth Hurst died on 10 January 1880 at Rural Twp., Jefferson County, KS.¹
