They were travelling second cabin.3 The 1900 census lists Isaac Contant and Martha at Lodi Twp, Bergen County, NJ, with their 11 children Annie J., Joseph D., John M., Jennie P., Isaac, Pieter M., Marinus, Arie, Henrietta P., Josina M. and Cornelius B. All but Cornelius are born in Holland. Isaac was indexed as James!4 The 1910 census lists Isaac Contant and Martha at Lodi, Bergen County, NJ, with five children: John M. (31), Pieter M. (25), Marinus (22), Arie (21), Josina M. (16), and Cornelius B. (13.)5
Isaac Contant's obituary appeared on 1 February 1929 in the Clarion (pg. 4.)1 He was a Dutch Reformed Minister. He served in Brielle (1874-79), Loosdrecht (1879-82), Alkmaar (1882-93), Biezelinge (1893-96), Lodi (Liberty Street Christian Reformed Church, 1896-99), and he was the founder of the Reformed Church in Lodi, which he served for about 25 years.1

     Elizabeth Cook was born on 31 October 1820. She married Tunis H Vreeland, son of Henry Abraham Vreeland and Elenor Hennion, on 27 May 1841 at Butler, Morris County, NJ, (Methodist Church) (by the Rev. J.M. Oden Welder.)1 Elizabeth Cook died on 27 October 1903 at Newark, Essex County, NJ. She was buried on 31 October 1903 in Old Butler Cemetery in Butler.1

     Frances Catherine Cook was born on 16 November 1901 at Buffalo, NY.1 She married William A Caldwell circa June 1928.1 Frances Catherine Cook died circa May 1969.1
