     The 1850 census lists Stephen Kingsland and Jane at Harrison, Hudson County, NJ, with, all b. NJ, Henrietta (18), Abel S (15), Elizabeth (12), and Jane (3) Kingsland; and Thomas Jerolemon (64, b. NJ, laborer). Stephen is 45, b. NJ, farmer; Jane is 44, b. NJ.⁵ The 1860 census lists Stephen Kingsland and Jane at Union Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Elizabeth Kingsland (21, b. NJ), Jane Kingsland (13, b. NJ), George Pattent (14, b. NJ), and William (no last name, 25, b. Germany, farm laborer). Sthephen (Sic!) is 55, b. NJ, gardener; Jane is 53, b. NJ.⁶ The 1880 census lists Stephen Kingsland and Jane at Union Township, NJ, with a servant Susan Cohn (13, b. NY, parents b. France). Stephen is 76, b. NJ, farmer, parents b. Prussia; Jane is 74, b. NJ, parents b. Prussia. The index lists them as black, but the image has a W.¹
     Application for probate was made 28 Apr 1891 by THeodore Sandford, and lists the following heirs: Catherine Kingsland, his widow, residing at South Rutherford, NJ; Ellen, wife of William Darlington residing at Newark, NJ; Henrietta Jeralomon, widow, residing at Newark; Jane, wife of William Brown, residing at South Rutherford; and Abel S. Kingsland, residing at Essex County, NJ. (Abel, Elizabeth and Jane are listed in BC-Families as children of Stephen Kingsland and Jannetje van Winkle, all bp. at Second River; Henrietta is also bp. at Second River, but mother's name not listed.)^7,2
     It is unclear, who Catherine Mandeville, who married Stephen Kingsland, is. It could be the widow of Isaac Mandeville, who died Dec 1880; however the 1880 census of Montville, Morris County lists Isaac Mandeville as widowed. Jane Kingsland died late 1880, early 1881; Stephen's probate mentions widow Catherine, and the children of Jane and Stephen).^7,8,9

     Abraham Kip was born on 21 December 1658.³ He was baptized on 22 December 1658 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Hendrick Kip de Jonge, Jan de La Montagne, Rachel de La Montagne, and Baertje Kip; father Jacob Kip, mother not listed.)^1,4,5 He married Catalina de Lanoy, daughter of Abraham de Lanoy and Marritie Lubbers, on 26 January 1697 at New York City (DRC.)^3,6,7 (Banns on 26 January 1697. He was jm from N. Yorck, she wid. of Isaacq van Vleck, both living here.)⁶ Abraham Kip died before 30 November 1720.³

     Abraham Kip was baptized on 3 September 1659 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Hendrick Kip, Sibout Claeszen, and Maria de La Montagne; father Isaac Kip, mother not listed.)^1,2,3 He married Geesje Van der Heyden.⁴ (Banns on 16 October 1687 at DRC, Albany.)^5,6 Abraham Kip was buried on 28 June 1731 at Albany.⁷

     Abraham Kipp was born on 24 July 1805.¹ He was baptized on 20 August 1805 at Hackensack, NJ.¹ He married Helen Van Saun, daughter of Henrikus Van Saan and Maria Zabriskie.^2,3 Abraham Kipp died on 26 March 1869.¹ He was buried in First DRC Churchyard in Hackensack.⁴

     The 1850 census lists Abraham Kipp and Helen at New York City (ward 9), with Mary (18, b. NY) and Hester (15, b. NJ) Kipp. Abram is 41, listed as b. NY, carman; Helen is 38, listed as b. NY.⁵ The 1860 census lists Abraham Kipp and Helen at Lodi Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Robert (29, b. NY, farmer), Hester A (24, b. NY), and Lilly (2, b. NJ) Williams; Mary H. Powers (4, b. NJ); August Myer (44, b. Saxony, farm laborer, pauper), and on the next page William Van Etten (60, b. NY, farm laborer) and Harriet Morrel (15, b. NY, servant). Abraham is 54, b. NJ, farmer; Hellen is 54, b. NJ.⁶

     Abraham Kip was born on 22 July 1703.¹ He was baptized on 29 August 1703 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Abraham Kip and Mary Lourenz; father Jesse Kip, mother Marey Stevens.)^1,2 He married Sara Fish, daughter of Nathan Fish, on 19 December 1731.^3,4
