     Peter may have remarried on 26 Jan 1897 in Passaic with Anna G. Graham (32). He was listed as 64, b. 1833 (Emmeline had died in 1896)
     The 9 Jul 1827 birthdate belongs to Peter Doremus, son of William P Doremus and Maria Post. The BC-Families Doremus File has William P Doremus (1806-1885, son of Peter Doremus and Lena Berry) first married to Maria Post, and second to Susan Van Blarcom. There are several discrepancies in the dates; and the date of the 2nd marriage is not listed with this William, but with an unconnected William; however, both were from Sloterdam.5,6,7

     Mary Dougherty was born in 1797 at Liverpool, England. She married Early Granger, son of William Granger and Mary Holmes, on 3 June 1816 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 Mary Dougherty died on 8 December 1853 at Brooklyn, Kings County, NY. She was buried on 9 December 1853 in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.2
