     NOTE: Acc. to the Fredericks File, all children were born to Aeltje, but this is in error. This file also had quite a few extra children: Catharina, b. 26 Apr 1685; Cornelis, b. 26 Dec 1687; Margaret, b. 21 Apr 1689; Cornelis, b. 21 Dec 1690; Josyntje, b. 24 Feb 1695; Elizabeth b. 28 Mar 1697; and Maria, b. 19 Jun 1702.      Myndert and his brother, Carsten, both smiths, were among the early settlers of Beverwyck. They immigrated from Iveren, Holland. They were both Lutherans: Myndert was an elder and Carsten a deacon in 1680. Some of Myndert's descendants took the name of Myndert and others took Van Iveren.¹

     Celitie Fredricks was born at Amsterdam (22 at marriage.)² She was baptized on 10 May 1608 at Amsterdam (DRC (New Church)) (sponsor: Selijtje Willems.)^3,4 She married Andries Jochemsen at Amsterdam (DRC (New Church.)³) (Banns on 20 December 1631 at Amsterdam. His witness was Grietien Pouwels; hers Celitgen Willems.)²

     Her parents were Frerik Thomas and Fransje Cornelis. They married 16 Sep 1606 (banns) in Amsterdam. He was 30 yr, from Groeningen, she 24, she had her mother's consent. They had at least two more children bp. in Amsterdam: Grietje (25 Oct 1609, New Church) and Sara (23 Aug 1615, New Church.)^5,6

     Frederick had a daughter Maria, acc. to BC-Families (L-File); BC-Families (Fredericks File) has Maria, who married (1) Jan Rapalje, and (2) Simon Hansen, as unconnected. She nor her children are listed in Frederick's will. Frederick and Styntje were from Amsterdam, and their daughter Rebecca was bp. there; but Maria was from The Hague.      Maritje Fredericks was born on 11 November 1684 at Bergen, NJ, ((father Fredrick Tomasen, mother Catreyna Hoppe.)^3,4) She was baptized on 1 December 1684 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Willem Hoppen and Jacomyntie Van Nes; father Fredrick Thomaszen, mother Catharina Hoppen.)^3,5 She married Harmen Juriance Van Riper, son of Juriaen Thomassen Van Ripen and Ryckje Coerten, on 20 June 1709.^1,6,7,8 (Banns on 14 May 1709. Amsterdam.)^1,2 Meyndert Frederickse (2) married Pieterje Teunise Van Vechten, daughter of Teunis Dircks Van Vechten, in 1663.^1,3 Meyndert Frederickse died before 1 May 1706.¹

     Thomas Fredricksen was born circa 1611 (67 yr in will.)² He married Maritje Ariansen, daughter of Andries Jochemszen and Tryntie Stevens, on 24 June 1649 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.^3,4,5,6 Thomas Fredricksen died on 19 May 1702.

     Thomas and Maritje immigrated to New Netherlands between 1647-1650 and moved to Bergen in 1661.¹ Thomas Fredricksen and Maritje Ariansen made a will on 27 July 1678.²

     Clara Fredrickson was born on 29 May 1897 at Lithuania (but 1915 NJ census has Jan 1897, Germany.)^2,3 She married Robert H Trub in 1928.⁴

     Clara filed her declarattion in Passaic County Court on 30 Sep 1924. She lists her birthplace as Kowno, Lihuania. She filed her petition in 1927. She arrived on 3 Jan 1908 on the vessel 'Patricia' from Hamburg, Germany, leaving Hamburg 20 Dec 1907; she is living at 384 Lafayette Ave, Passaic, NJ; she is a nurse.^3,5 The 1940 census lists Robert H Trub and Clara at 37 Barry Place at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with their niece Elva Frederickson (18, b. NJ), and a servant Emily Byzosky (16, b. PA). Robert was 41, b. Switzerland, civil engineer; Clara was 42, b. Germany, x-ray technician. Both were naturalized, and living in the same place in 1935, as was Elva.⁶
     Robert H. and Clara Trub arrived on 31 Aug 1950 by airplane from Zurich in New York City. They were living in Packnack Lake, NJ. In 1929 Robert entered the US at Niagara Falls. His US contact is Clara W. Trub.^7,8 Name variation: Clara Friedrickson.² Married name: Trub.

     Elva Grace Fredrickson was born in 1921 at Bergen County, NJ.¹ She died on 6 July 2007 at Los Angeles, CA.¹

     Emily Fredrickson was born on 3 April 1860 at Lithuania (but 1915 NJ census has Jan 1860, Germany.)^2,3

     The 1910 census lists Emily Friedrickson at 18 Monroe Street at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with four children: Lydia (21, midwife), Robert (18, butcher), Emilie (15, packer of handkerchiefs), and Clara (13). Emilie was 42, widowed. They all were b. Russia-Poland, spoke German, and immigrated in 1907.⁴ The 1915 census lists Emily Friedrickson at Hope Street at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with, surname Friedrickson, parents all b. Germany, Robert (24, b. Oct 1890, Russia, pipefitter), Clara (18, b. Jan 1897, Germany, clerk), Emily (20, Feb 1895, Germany, nurse), and Marie (25, May 1890, Russia, nurse.)² The 1920 census lists Emily Fredrickson at 384 Lafayette Ave at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ, with daughter Clara (22, b. Russia, div., imm. 1907). Emily is the owner, Emily and Clara are still aliens; Laurence and Catherine Markey live in the apartment with two children, they are not related. There is also an unrelated boarder.¹
     Emilie filed her declaration in Passaic County Court in 1923. She lists her birthplace as Villowishky, Lithuania. She came on the 'Finland' from Antwerp, Belgium. She is living at 384 Lafayette Ave, Passaic, NJ. Her last residence was Kowno, Lithuania.³ The 1930 census listed Emily Fredrickson in Marie Kalita's household at 384 Lafayette Ave at Passaic, NJ.⁵ The 1940 census listed Emily Fredrickson in Marie Kalita's household at 384 Lafayette Ave at Passaic, NJ.⁶
     There are a number of problems with this family. Possibly daughter Lydia and daughter Maria are the same person, as Lydia is with her in 1910, and Marie in 1915. Marie is always listed as single, but has a different last name in 1930 and 1940; she could be a half-sister of the others (and the 1915 census is wrong on the last name. Robert seems to be in Jersey City in 1930 with three children (William, Herbert, and Alfred). Marie Kalita is an aunt of Elva, as well as of Ruth and Robert; they might be children of yet another brother. Name variation: Emily Friedrickson.²

     Robert Fredrickson was born in October 1890 at Russia.¹ He married Helen in 1905.²

     He registered for the draft in Passaic County, NJ. He was b. Feb 1891, Kowno, Russia; he was a steamfitter, living at 3 Brighton, Passaic, NJ; he claims his mother and his wife as dependants. The birthdate does not correspond to the one in the 1915 census.³ The 1930 census lists Robert Fredrickson and Helen at Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ, with three sons, all b. NJ: William (7y 4m), Herbert (6y 5m), and Alfred 1y 1m). Robert is 39, b. Poland, steam fitter, parents b. Poland, imm. 1900, nat. 24 at first marriage; Helen is 36, b. NJ, father b. Poland, mother b. NJ, 21 at first marriage. There is no daughter Elva, so maybe this is the wrong couple.
They are in the same house, but different family as Phillip Hariluk (32, b. Poland) with wife Anna (24, b. NJ, father b. Poland, mother b. NJ) and their two sons. They had been married 3 years.² Name variation: Robert Friedrickson.¹
