     Catharina van Woert was baptized on 9 March 1712 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Rip Van Dam and Elizabeth de Foreest; father Theunis van Waert, mother Angenietje van der Spiegel.)¹ She (1) married Rip Thong on 27 February 1731 at New York City (DRC.)² (with license; Rip Thong and Cath'a Van Woert; reg. On 26 February 1731.)² She (2) married Peter Brouwer, son of Jacobus Brouwer and Annetje Bogardus, on 14 April 1750 at New York City (DRC.)³ (Pieter Brouwer and Catharina Thong; reg. On 10 April 1750.)³ Catharina van Woert died before October 1751 as her husband remarried.⁴

     Aeltje Van Wyck was baptized on 5 October 1679 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Dan Polhemius and Artje Tunis Bogart w; father Cors Barentz V. der Wyck, mother Anna Polhemius.)^2,1 She (2) married Jacobus Cosine, son of Gerrit Cosyns and Belitje Jacobs.^1,3

     Annetje Van Wyck was baptized in 1682.¹ She married Philip Nagel, son of Juriaen Nagel and Jannetje Philips Langelaan.¹

     Cornelis Van Wyck was born in 1641 at The Netherlands.² He married Annetje Polhemus, daughter of Rev. Johannes Theodorus Polhemius and Catharina Van der Werven. Cornelis Van Wyck died in 1731.²

     He came to New Netherland in 1660, and lived in Brooklyn.^2,1 Cornelis Van Wyck and Annetje lived at Brooklyn.¹ His parents were Barent Danielszen (VanWyck) and Anneken Cornelis.² Name variation: Cornelis Barents Van Wyck.³

     Hannah Van Wyck married Cornelius Depuy Westbrook, son of Frederick Westbrook and Sarah DePuy.¹

     Maarten Paulusz Van Wyck was born on 18 November 1845 at Ouddorp, Zuid Holland, The Netherlands.¹ He married Klaartje Jacobsdr Lokker, daughter of Jacob Cornelisz Lokker and Johanna E Markenstein, on 22 January 1870 at Paterson, Passaic County, NJ.¹ Maarten Paulusz Van Wyck died on 13 November 1928 at Paterson, NJ.¹ He was buried in Fair Lawn Cemetery in Fair Lawn.¹

     Marten emigrated and arrived at Castle Garden 13 Apr 1864 in the ship 'Plymouth Rock' with his parents and siblings.¹

     Mamie Van Wyck was born on 27 February 1893 at Paterson, Passaic County, NJ.¹ She was baptized on 19 March 1893 at Paterson, NJ, (First Christian Reformed Church.)¹ She married George Sheffield Konight, son of Samuel P Konnight and Katherine Ackerson, on 2 April 1918 at Passaic, Passaic County, NJ.¹ Mamie Van Wyck died on 11 March 1976 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ.¹ She was buried in Fair Lawn Cemetery in Fair Lawn.¹

     Theodorus Van Wyck was born in 1668.¹ He married Margrietie Brinkerhoff, daughter of Abraham Brinkerhoff and Aeltie Stryker, in 1693.^1,2 Theodorus Van Wyck died in 1753.¹

     About 1715 Theodorus and Margrietie became one of the first settlers of Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY.³ Name variation: Theodore Cornelis Van Wyck.²

     Myndert Van Yveren was baptized on 9 October 1748 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Abm Psel and wife Jannetje Van Yveren; father Ide Van Yveren, mother Catharina Clerk.)^2,3 He married Rachel Lamb, daughter of Johannis Lamb and Christina Lent, on 4 December 1763 at New York City (DRC.)¹

     Myndert Van Yveren and Rachel had four children, all bp. NYDC:

     Frederick Van Zandt was born on 7 March 1884 at New York City.¹ He married Mathilda Zoll, daughter of Jacob H Zoll and Karoline Zilly, on 3 August 1904 at New York City.¹ Frederick Van Zandt died on 2 December 1946.¹ He was buried in St. Peter's Churchyard in Westchester Square.¹

     Frederick Van Zandt and Mathilda had four sons.¹

     Frederick Jr. Van Zandt was born circa 1905.¹ He died in 1906 aged 9 months.¹

     Harry Adolph Van Zandt was born on 2 June 1907 at Westchester Square, New York City.¹

     Johanna Van Zandt was born between 1761 and 1762.¹ She married Jedeidiah Waterman, son of Jedediah Waterman.¹ Johanna Van Zandt died on 1 December 1798 at New York City.¹ She was buried in Glastonbury.¹

     Jacob Van Zanen was from Ransdorp, The Netherlands, when he married.^2,1 He married Jannetie Lucas, daughter of Lucas Andriessen and Aefje Laurens Van der Wel, on 25 August 1678 at New York City (DRC.)^2,3 (Banns on 18 August 1678 at New York City. He was Jacob Van Zanen, jm from Ransdorp; she Jannetje Lucas, jd from N. Yorke, both living in N. Yorke.)²

     He came to New Netherland in 1677.¹ Jacob Van Zanen and Jannetie had two more children, both bp. NYDC:

     Jacob Jacobs Van Zanen was baptized on 7 April 1684 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Pieter Jacobszen Marius and Marritie Beeck; father Jacob Van Sanen, mother Jannetie Lucas.^1,3,4,5 He married Ragel Bogert, daughter of Jan Cornelis Bogert and Angenietje Stryker, on 25 August 1705 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)^6,1,3,7,8

     Name variation: Jacob Van Saen.⁶

     Isaac Henry Van Zant was born on 22 January 1843 at New Barbadoes, NJ.¹ He married Frances Matilda Bogert on 20 April 1864.¹ Isaac Henry Van Zant died on 24 May 1915 at Soldier's Home, Bath, NY.¹

     Levi Van Zant was born on 27 June 1836.^1,2 He married Frances M Outwater in 1858.^3,2,4 Levi Van Zant died on 24 May 1904 at Manhattan, NY.^5,1,2 He was buried on 28 May 1904 in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack, Plot 320-A.^1,2

     Levi Van Zant was a private in Comp. C, 22nd Regiment, NJ Infantry, in the Civil War. In 1890 he was living in Hackensack.^1,6,7,8 The 1880 census lists Levi Van Zandt and Frances M, with two children, both b. NJ: Annie (20) and Frederick (13.)⁹ The 1900 census lists Levi Van Zant and Frances M at Lark Street at Hackensack (Ward 3), Bergen County, NJ, they were married 42 years. He was b. Jun 1835 in NJ, a watchman; she was b. Sep 1840 in NJ, 7 children, 3 living.³
     The children living in 1900 were probably Newton (1862-1839, d. in Blooming Grove, PA, buried in NY Cemetery with his parents, married Melissa (Lizzie) Winters on 2 Nov 1887), Annie (married Henry Stagg on 21 Feb 1883), and Frederick (married Alida C. Earle on 20 Jul 1893).
Annie and Frederick are both in the 1880 census with the parents; Newton and Frederick are with the parents in 1885. In 1900 Frederick Van Zant and wife Alida, and Henry Stagg and wife Annie are living at Central Ave, Hackensack (Ward 3) next door to each other.
Robert Lee Van Zandt is born 28 Nov 1867 in Bergen County (Moonachey), parents are Levi Van Zandt and Francis Van Zandt. This would correspond with the age of Frederick in the 1880 (13) and 1900 (Nov 1867) census.^{10,11,12,9,13,14,15}
     On 26 May 1904 an article appeared in the Hackensack Republican, that Levi was found dead in NYC on 23 May. Later (on 23 Jun) it was reported that he had died of natural causes.^16,17
     Acc. to Bergen Families Van Saun File, Levi is a son of Henry J. Van Saun and Ruth Fredericks. This informaton comes from the Van Zandt Society Website . There is confusion about the third child: Robert Lee (birthdate known) Frederick (in the census, marriage.)¹⁸ Name variation: Van Zandt.^9,4 Name variation: Levi Van Saun.¹⁸

     Sarah Van Arsdale was baptized on 14 April 1765 at Harlingen, NJ, (DRC.)² She married John J Brinkerhoff, son of Joris Brinkerhoff and Martyntje Bogert, on 25 January 1785.¹

     Her parents were maybe Gerrit Jan Van Arsdalen and Lucretia Hegeman. It could be Gerrit Van Arsdalen and Lucretia Voorhees, wife's last name is Voorhis, but her mother is a Hegeman. Needs clarification.²

     Jitske Van Assen was born on 10 March 1915 at Dantumawoude, Dantumadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands.² She married Henry Ritsma on 6 July 1939 at Dantumadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands.^3,1 Jitske Van Assen died on 6 February 2001 at Lakewood, Jefferson County, CO.^2,4 She was buried in Paramus.⁵

     Jitske Van Assen and Henry Ritsma immigrated in 1957.³ Jitske Van Assen and George Ritsma were naturalized on 17 June 1966 at Passaic County Court, Paterson, NJ, with their 4 children, Patricia (Pietie), Susan (Sietske), Gooitsen (Henry) and Mrs. Marilyn (Martie) Faber. The names of the father and the son seem to have been exchanged in the newsarticle.³ Henry Ritsma and Jitske lived in 1966 at 317 North 11th Street at Paterson, Passaic County, NJ.³ Her parents were Pieter van Assen and Martje Harmens de Boer.² Married name: Joyce Ritsma.³

     Jan Vanborsum died before 1628.
