     Edwin Warman was born circa 1827 at Canterbury, Kent, England.¹ He married Margaret Horton, daughter of James Horton and Mary Alice Grumble, on 7 April 1853 at Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada, (Weldford Parish.)¹ Edwin Warman died on 16 February 1866 at Molus River, Kent County, Canada.¹ He was buried in Methodist Point, with his wife and the twins Elizabeth and George.¹

     The 1861 census lists Edwin Warman and Margaret at Weldford, Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada, with their children James and John. He was age 34, his wife was 23. James Edwin is listed in the Canadian book. The Census lists neither George - the first is deceased and the second has yet to be born.²
     A mystery surrounded the parents of Edwin WARMAN until the WARMAN family in Canada was located in 1993, and the book Descendants of George WARMAN and Harriet Holroyd was purchased from them. This book lists George WARMAN as having been born in England in 1803, his wife Harriet Holroyd as having been born in England in 1803, and died in 1889. Both are buried at Methodist Point.
     Children of George and Harriet listed in the book are Edwin, born England 1826, married to Margaret HORTON and buried at Methodist Point. Also listed are Eleanor, born England 1828, married to John Barnes; died 1894 and is buried in the Presbyterian Cemetary in Bass River. John, born at Nicholas River, Canada, 1831 and married to Elizabeth Powell HORTON. He died 1916, she in 1925; both buried at Molus River Cemetary. George b 1832 married Ellen Walker. He died in 1912 and is buried in Molus River Cem. Richard, b 1836 married Annie Johnston, b 1843. He died 1912, she in 1893, both buried Molus River. Elizabeth and Jane died as children. William b 1844, d Apr 1916, married Ellen Carlyle b 1846, d 1920, buried Molus River. Fred b 1846 d 1912, never married.
     Children of Edwin are listed as James Edwin b 1856 at Molus River, married Sarah Graham, died 1923 buried at Molus River Cemetary. George, b 1857, died 13 Aug 1861 of diphtheria and buried at Methodist Point. Elizabeth b 1858 d 19 Aug 1861 of diphtheria, b at Methodist Point. Both are listed on one stone at Methodist Point. Thomas Holroyd was born 20 Aug 1864. This is as far as the Canadian Geneology goes. Family history has son George Frederick b 7 Jun 1862, and John Watson b. 17 Feb 1860.John Watson is listed with Edwin and Margaret WARMAN in the 1861 canadian Census with James Edward. He was 1, James, 8. Edwin is listed as English, Canterbury. Margaret and the children are native.
     Edwin's marriage to Margaret HORTON, in addition to being documented in the WARMAN geneology, is documented by both church and civil documents. 'Edwin WARMAN and Margaret HORTON, both of the Parish of Welford were married by license with consent of parents 7 April, 1853. Edwin WARMAN signed the paper; Margaret made an X. The marriage was witnessed by John WARMAN and Elizabeth HORTON who were married 4 Aug 1854, same parish, in the presence of Richard and George WARMAN (Canadian film # 1408, pg 187).
     A family registry of Jane Green WARMAN lists Edwin's death as 16 Feb 1866, aged 39 years. Margaret died 21 May 1894. his obituary is written Morning News 26 Feb 1866, and the Christian Visitor 1 Mar 1866 'At Molus River Kent County, on the 17th instant, Mr. Edwin WARMAN aged 39 years deeply lamented by all who knew him.
The 1871 and 1881 list Margaret WARMAN with children Edwin, John W. Frederick G. and Thomas H. I found no further trace of her, or a record of her burial. Her death however is listed in family records as 21 May 1894, no location cited.¹

     Eva Evelyn Warman was born on 11 September 1892 at Ludlow, Aroostook County, ME.¹ She married Rodney Arthur Holmes, son of Horace William Holmes and Clara E Redman, on 31 August 1919 at Houlton, Aroostook County, ME, (by A. M. Thompson, clergyman in Houlton. Newspaper clipping and marriage record lists place of marriage as home of the bride in Houlton, ME, but home of the bride was in Ludlow, ME.)¹ Eva Evelyn Warman died on 31 May 1974 at Danforth, Aroostook County, ME.¹ She was buried in Fairmont Cemetery in Presque Isle.¹
