Other information:
They don't seem to be together in 1870, was there a divorce? Samuel is enumerated with his brother Isaac, Abigail seems to be living in Newark.8,5
For a short blogpost, see link.
She is listed in the following census:
1850 Fed. census (1 Jun): Household of David J. Hubbs, Ward 12 (#18), New York City, New York County, New York.9
1860 Fed. census (1 Jun): Household of Samuel Riker, Acquackanonck (Little Falls Postoffice), Passaic County, New Jersey.4
1870 Fed. census (1 Jun): Household of Abby L. Ricord, 2nd Ward, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey. Household consists of Abby L. and and her children Samuel, Cole L., Bella and Jane. The children were resp. 13, 11, 8, and 7. The last name is mangled, but (aside from Jane), everything fits with this being Abigail Riker's family. It seems likely, that the enumerator made an error.10
1865 New Jersey census: Household of Samuel Riker, North Ward, Paterson.11
Name variants: Abby L. Cisko.6 Louise Cisko (in son's marriage certificate.)12 Abby L. Hubbs (married name, in the 1850 census.)9 Abigail Riker (married name, in the 1860 census.)4 Abby L. Ricord (in the 1870 census.)5 Abby Louesa Riker (at Isabella's birth.)13
