     Isaac Riker married Catalina Berry, daughter of Samuel Berry and Susannah Courter, on 14 Jun 1801.1,3 He died b 20 May 1822 because his will was probated.4,3

Isaac Riker made a will on 10 Aug 1820. It was probated on 20 May 1822 in Essex County Court.
He mentions his wife Catharina Riker, she is appointed executrix, his sons John, Samuel, Isaac and Henry and his daughters Lydia, Sally and Susan inherited land. He mentions a lot he inherited from his father John Riker.4,3
He lived at that time in Caldwell Township.4,3

The shingled house left once housed slaves belonging to visitors at Issac Rikker’s inn on Main Street. The slaves who worked Rikker’s farms also lived there.5

The wooden structure at right, while not a house, provided a home away from home for weary travelers. It was a tap room on the old Morris Canal.5
