  • Coenraat Colmschot was likely a brother of Jannes Colmschate, because Coenraat is guardian over the child of Jannes. Coenraat's father was Jan, and Jannes's first child was Jan. No parents mentioned at Jannes's marriage. They also lend money together.
     Coenraat Colmschot was from in Almelo at his marriage.1 He married (NH) Gesina Margareta Lubelei on 24 Oct 1731 in Almelo.1
Willem Boom, Pieter van Haarst, Jan Berentsen Bolck, Benjamin ten Bruggenkate, Berent Oink, Coenraat Colmschot and Abraham Hagedoorn was among the people nominated on 18 Dec 1733 by the council of Stad Almelo to serve as tax collectors for the 1000th penning. They had to be approved by the Count of Rechteren, Lord of Almelo.3

Jan Henriksen te Werder took out a mortgage with Coenraat Colmschot and his wife Gesina Margareta Lubelei, and also Jannes Colmschate and his wife Johanna Catharina van Heek and their resp. heirs, with as collateral his half house and yard, occupied by himself, next to the half house of Jan Boom, in which Baerent Boom is living. The mortgage was paid off on 11 May 1739.4

1748 Stad Almelo census: Household of Conrad Colmschate (1st quarter). Household consists of Conrad, wife, four children, Jan, 15 1/2 yr, and three under 10, and a maid. Anna Berendina, Egbert Johannus and Margrete Elseke are probably the unnamed children.2
