8. Adrianus (bp. 22 Apr 1759, parents Dirk Amerman and Lena Mees; sp. Adrianus Vander Swan and wife Sophia de Klercq).2 Dirck Amerman made a will on 15 November 1786. It was proved 19 Mar 1795. Mentions wife Helena, children Albert, Lena, and Jannetje; grandson Dirck Amerman, Jr. Executors: wife, son Albert, and son-in-law, Coenrad W. Ham.
Witnesses: George Hopson, butcher; Peter Hegeman, and P.V. Steenbergh.1
Dirk Amerman and Lea/Lena/Helena Mas/Mes/Maes/Mees have children bp. in NYDC from at least 1742 through 1759. In 1754 Lena Mees, wife of Dirk Amerman, is sponsor for the child Samuel of Dirk Amerman and Lena Amerman, this has to be some kind of error!
Albert was acc. to Find-A-Grave b. 1733; and has his first child bp. in 1759. If Albert is a son of this couple, Lena would be at least 44 at the last baptism. Not impossible, but stretching it.3,4,2
