Jan Kosters and Gerrit Kosters, Hermannus Hofkes and his wife Judith Kosters, and Jan ten Cate and his wife Judith Kosters, for their children Egbert Kosters and Judith Kosters, children of the last mentioned and her late husband Lambert Kosters, together children and grandchildren of the late Egbert Kosters and Judith Costers, present a closed envelop, containing the will of forementioned Egbert Kosters and Judith Costers.1
Egbert Kosters and Judith Costers made a will on 7 Jun 1747. They name as sole heir their children, namely Jan Kosters, Lambert Kosters, Gerrit Kosters and Judith Kosters , and also the children of their late son Lambert Kosters, namely Egbert Kosters and Judith Kosters. Furthermore, the unmarried children will be allowed to receive, in advance from the estate, an amount equal to the amount that the married children have received as dowry. They wish that their oldest son Jan Kosters shall take over their house, in which they are presently living, for a sum of ƒ3000.- car. guilders. Their son Gerrit Kosters can, after both their deaths, take over the house at the Molenbrugge, in which he is living, for a sum of ƒ500.-.9

Barent Schimmelpennink was the representative for Willem de Witt and his wife.11

Aaltje Rengelink, widow of Jan Valk, and also Janna Valk, widow of Derk Bakker, both with their guardian Secr. Hein, and Cornelis Valk conveyed to Egbert Kosters, and Baerent Schimmelpennink and their resp. wives and heirs, a house and yard of two dwellings, with the land behind it.15

Harmen Jan Elferink, and his wife Gesiena Beuser conveyed to Egbert Koster, and his wife Judith Koster, their house and yard, with the outbuildings, between the house of Jan Koster and the townhall.17

Baerent van Lochem, and his wife Swenneken Bolk took out a mortgage with Egbert Kosters, and his wife Judith Koster and heirs, with as collateral their half of part of a house, with the land belonging to it, in which they are living, which they used to own together with their brother-in-law and brother, but which has since been divided, locared at the churchyard, next to the house of Willem Boom's widow. Jan Koster Egbertszn declares on 29 Mar 1762 that the mortgage has been paid off.18
