Harmen Jan Elferink, and his wife Gesiena Beuser conveyed to Egbert Koster, and his wife Judith Koster, their house and yard, with the outbuildings, between the house of Jan Koster and the townhall.7
Stadsgericht, Almelo, 14 Sep 1736:
Maria Nijhuis, widow of Hendrijk ten Hoeve with her guardian Secr. Hein, and also Harmen Jan Elferink and his wife Gesiena Beuser. And also Jan Colmschot and Jan Bakker as guardians of Fredrik Beuse took out a mortgage with Jannes Colmschot, and his wife Johanna Catharina van Heek, with as collateral their house of four dwellings standing at the wharf, next to the Schutten and tha house of the Count of Rechteren. They agree that the rent of two of these dwellings, in which Isaac Kippers and the widow of Baerent Palte are living, may be collected by the lender. On 29 Nov 1749 Conrad Colmschate declares, as guardian of the minor child of the late Jannes Colmschot, that half the mortgage has been paid off, and that the two dwellings have been sold to Lucas Bakker. The dwellings that remain, remain as collateral for the remainder of the mortgage, and are now the property of Jan Elferink.6

Harmen Jan Elferink sued Harmen ten Bruggencate Janszn because he had build a wall between their houses where that was not allowed.8
