     Berent Schimmelpennink was from in Almelo at his marriage.2 He married Elizabeth Costers, daughter of Lambert Costers and Maria ten Cathe, in Almelo2 (banns (NH) 17 Feb 1715, Almelo.)2 He died on 22 Dec 1759 in Delden.4

He was baptized (Doopsgez.) on 15 Nov 1716 in Almelo by Ds. J. Rijsdijk.5,4
His children have guardians in the taxlist of 1750.6

Aaltje Rengelink, widow of Jan Valk, and also Janna Valk, widow of Derk Bakker, both with their guardian Secr. Hein, and Cornelis Valk conveyed to Egbert Kosters, and Baerent Schimmelpennink and their resp. wives and heirs, a house and yard of two dwellings, with the land behind it.3

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 24 Sep 1736:
Gerrit Hondebrink, and his wife Berentjen Schoenmaeker conveyed to Baerent Schimmelpennink, and his heirs, the house and yard occupied byHenrik Bolmeijer, between the house of Burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and that of Baerent Schimmelpennink, across the water, and also the path in front of the house occupied by Jan Boer.7
