Baerent van den Berg and Maria Geertruit Swam made a will on 20 Feb 1731. They name each other sole heir. They give their brothers and sisters each 10 Car. guilders, and the Provisory of Almelo and the Church each ƒ25.-.2
Berend Janssen van de Berg and Anna Catharina Nijhof with her guardian Secr. Hein made a will on 15 Mar 1734. They name each other sole heir. If testatrix mother survives her, she will get her legal portion. Their respective families will get ƒ500.-, and all their clothes.5

Wolter Baarschers, and his cousin Cornelis Baarschers with his wife Johanna Leuweweert took out a mortgage with Berend Janssen van de Berg, and his wife Maria Swam, with as collateral their house and yard at the Plaatse, between a house of the Count of Rechteren and that of Harmen Spijkers's widow, and also their house in the Krikkengang, between the house of Henrik Vikkers' widow and that of Albert Geertsen's widow.7
