She lived in 1752 in Amsterdam.¹ She was mentioned in the will of Johanna Swam on 3 Nov 1752.¹ She was mentioned in the will of Hendrik Swam on 29 Dec 1736.³
Alida Swam with her guardian Dr. Elias Dull made a will on 7 May 1764. She names as sole heir her nephew Gerrit Swam and his wife Gesina Oonk, son of her brother Hermanus Swam. She leaves to the son of forementioned Gerrit, named Hendrik Swam, a piece of land on the Baaken. She leaves her niece Johanna Swam, now living inAmsterdam, her bed and what belongs to it, and to Johana's sister Swaantje Swam, also living in Amsterdam, some clothes and part of the furniture. And to her nieces Mietje Soetekoek and Rijka Soetekoek, both living in Amsterdam, some clothes. To her niece Anna Swam, living in Schüttorf, a Bible with silver clasps, that testatrix had inherited from her mother,some clothes, and part of the furniture. To her niece Johanna Swam, living in Gronau, the Bible with silver clasps, in which testatrix name is written, some clothes and furniture. To her niece Elisabeth Swam, sister of forementioned Johanna Swam, living in Neuenhaus, some clothes. She leaves to Gerhardus Swam in Almelo, part of the furniturel, and to his daughter Rijka Swam, now living in Amsterdam, a Bible and clothes. To her maid a mourning dress and a quarter of her yearly wage. She names Warner Hobers and Jan Selhorst as executors of her estate.²
