Warner Hobers was baptized (NH) on 29 Jan 1708 in Amsterdam (Nieuwe Kerk). Sponsors were Jannetje Rotting and Gerrit Rotting.1 He married Harmina Bouw, daughter of Jan Vrerijcks Bouw, on 16 Sep 1731 in Weerselo (with certificate from Almelo.)2

For information over earlier generations, see Stamboom Hobers. Warner Hobes was bet 1771 - 1782 a council member of Stad Almelo.3 He presented Jan Frerik Bouw's will for probate on 17 Jun 1751.5
Warner Hobers and Harmina Bouw with her guardian Dr. E. Dull made a will on 2 Dec 1777. They name each other as heir. After the death of the survivor, they name as sole heir Gerrit ter Brugge and his wife Janna Hoosappel, with the understanding that after their death, the inheritance will go to Gerrit ter Brugge's family, not to his wife's. They leave their niece Maria Kamerling, living at the Brander, and their niece Aleida Kamerling living at the Sluitersveld each ƒ500.-. To Jannes Hinnen ƒ200.-. To the NH Parish ƒ100.-. If aforementioned Jannes Hinnen is already deceased, the gift to the Parish shall be ƒ200.-. They leave the widow if their cousin Frerik Bouw all their clothes, except the following: to the wife of Jan Kruiderik 6 old shirts, to their nieces Maria Kamerling and Aleida Kamerling her daily clothes, to her nephew Hendrik Jan Bouw a few clothes, and to the daughter of Jan van 't Hag, named Maria van 't Hag, her bag with the silver clasp.6 He presented Harmina Bouw's will for probate on 10 Jan 1778.6
