     Gerrit Hendriksen Hondebrink was from in Almelo at his marriage.1 He married (NH) Berendje Janssen Schoemakers, daughter of Jan Schoemakers, on 19 Sep 1697 in Almelo1 (banns 15 Aug 1697, Almelo.)1

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 24 Sep 1736:
Gerrit Hondebrink, and his wife Berentjen Schoenmaeker conveyed to Baerent Schimmelpennink, and his heirs, the house and yard occupied byHenrik Bolmeijer, between the house of Burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and that of Baerent Schimmelpennink, across the water, and also the path in front of the house occupied by Jan Boer.2

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 16 May 1744:
Gerrit Hondebrink, and his wife Berentjen Schoenmaeker took out a mortgage with Garrit Tushveld, and his heirs, with as collateral their house en yard, in which they are living, build onto the house of Garrit Tushveld, behind the house of Claes Lucas. On 30 Aug 1779, at the weduwe Swam's house, 800 gld is paid to Jan Bolk, which pays off the mortgage.4
