     19th century.
          Thomas ten Bruggencate was drafted in 1833, and served 6 years with the 2nd Div. Infantery.
          Gerrit Jan Gast was drafted in 1827. He started his service on 1 May 1828, and served 5 years with the 7th Div. Infantery.
          Egbert ten Bruggencate served 5 years with the 7th Div. Infantery.
          Egbert ten Bruggencate volunteered as a soldier in the Dutch East Indies.
