Jacob Bonnema was a millhand.2 Jacob Bonnema immigrated on the SS Majestic. He left Liverpool on 6 Mar 1901, and arrived in Ellis Island, New York on 14 March 1901. He was going to his brother Jan Bonnema, who was living in Passaic. His town of residence is listed as Harlingen. Jacob is a farmer. A Martje Bonnema is listed under him, also from Harlingen, but not going to Passaic. Acc. to Genlias there does ot seem to be a relationship between them.2,3 He and Sadie Bonnema were naturalized before 1915.2
