His parents were Reitze Pieters Sybesma and Aukjen Alberts Sietsma.2 Will Sybema and Boltje Sybema immigrated on the Maasdam, from Rotterdam, arriving in New York on 10 May 1892, with 7 children: Siek (10), Aukje (8), Marie (7), Trietje (5), Bertje (2), Witske (1) and Eeltje (9 mo). They were going to Paterson, NJ.4 William R. Sybesma and Botje Attema had nine children born in Wymbritseradeel, Friesland, The Netherlands: Aukje (1880 #A265, died 1880 #203)), Siek (1881 #A301), Aukje (1883 #A 364), Marie (1885 #A 18), Trijntje (1886 #A 287), Reitze (1888 #A 31, died 1888 #A 83), Reitze (1889 #A 93), Wytske (1890 #A 376) and Eelkje (1892 #A 37.)5 William R. Sybesma and Samuel Sybesma were Samuel and William were contractors & masons. From 1931 there is the firm William Sybesma & Sons at William Sybesma & Sons, 237 Erie Ave, Midland Park in Midland Park.6,7,8,9
