Cent Cornelis Traas.2 Nicolaas Maat and Pieternella Maat immigrated on the Edam, from Rotterdam, arriving 2 May 1893 in New York with three children: Pieter (17), Janna (16) and Johanna (15). Their last residence was Goes, and they were going to Canfield, NJ (?)4 She and Nicolaas Maat lived in 1898 in Passaic, Passaic County, New Jersey.5
