He immigrated with Joeke Sterkenburg and Camerke Sterkenburg on the Rotterdam, arriving on 26 Dec 1892 in New York, with two children: Pieter (3) and Hiltje (1). They came from Berlikum (Friesland), and were going to Paterson, NJ. He was a farmer.4
