Fenneken Schuitemaker, widow of Jan Berentsen Bolk, and also Jenneke Nijhuis, widow of Baerent Bolk for herself and as mother and guardian for her minor children, with their guardian Jan Bakker, with special permission from teh Count of Rechteren, Lord of Almelo conveyed to Jan Freriks Bouw, ex-burgemeester, and heirs, their house and yard, with the land behind it, in which they are livingbetween the house of Jan Rompelman and that of Henrik Slag. And further to Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs the loom and the furniture. From the proceeds ƒ900.- had to be paid to burgemeester Hendrik Jan Bruins to pay off the mortgage for which these goods were the collateral.¹
