     Gerrit ten Bruggencate was from in Almelo at his marriage.3,2 He was baptized (NH) on 11 Nov 1745 in Almelo.1 He (1) married (NH) Willemina Hagedoorn, daughter of Jurrien Hagedoorn and Margaretha Baarschers, on 2 Oct 1768 in Almelo2 (banns (NH) 27 Aug 1768, Almelo.)2 He (2) married (NH) Charlotta Izabella Sophia Bartelink, daughter of Pieter Willem Bartelink and Lucia Gerritsen, on 2 Apr 1780 in Almelo3,5 (banns (NH) 26 Feb 1780, Almelo.)3 He died c 1797 in Stad Almelo.6,7 He was buried in the Grote Church in Stad Almelo.7

In the marriage enclosures of daughter Willemina is a declaration, under oath, of Hendrik Bartelink (53 yr, painter), Lambert Peddemos (65 yr, merchant), Dirk Rompelman (almost 70, merchant), and Jannes Tijhof (almost 50, tailor), that Gerrit ten Bruggencate died about 15 yrs ago in the house in which Bernardus Vixseboxen is now living, next to Mozes Salomons.7

Gerrit ten Bruggencate, and his wife C.S.J. Bartelink conveyed to Jacobus Revius, and his wife Anna Geertruid Bruins, a garden.10

Landgericht, Almelo, 2 Jul 1785:
Gerrit ten Bruggencate, who has leased the taxes on alcohol for Almelo and Vriezenveen orders a number of people to appear to testify (but no mention of what it is about.)11

Landgericht, Almelo, 24 Jan 1786:
Gerrit ten Bruggencate Abz, who has leased the taxes on alcohol for Almelo and Vriezenveen arrests Boer Hendrik uit Oude Aalberink in Geesteren to testify.12

Landgericht, Almelo, 28 Sep 1781:
Abraham ten Bruggenkate, and his wife Fenneke Roelofs conveyed to Gerrit ten Bruggencate, their son and his wife and heirs, a garden, located across from the Goote, between the garden of Gerhardus Rhee and that of the widow Coenraat Colmschot.13

Landgericht, Almelo, 19 Jul 1796:
Gerrit ten Bruggencate sued Proc. G. Aeijelts to get paid for the food he had consumed in his tavern, for a sum of fl.15=18=. He presents the bill.6

An unknown place , 3 Jun 1787:
Gerrit ten Bruggencate, and his wife Charlotta Izabella Sophia Bartelink conveyed to Gerrit Peppels and his wife and heirs, their half house at the Goote, across from the Blaauwe Huis, rented by Willem Kluppels, and the other half of which belongs to Arnoldus Kamerling.14
