     Arent Swam was from in Almelo at his marriage.2 He married (NH) Geesje Prinssen, daughter of Gerrit Prinsen, on 31 Mar 1699 in Wierden3,2 (banns (NH) 12 Mar 1699, Almelo)2 They went on 31 Mar 1699 with certificate to Wierden.2,3 He died b 1739, because he died before Gerrit's marriage.1

Arent Swam was bet 1712 - 1715 a council member of Stad Almelo.4

Arent Swam, and his wife Geesje Prinssen took out a mortgage with Jan Bolk, for the Poor of Almelo, with as collateral their half house at the Hof van Gulik, the other half of which is owned by Henrik Swam and occupied by Gerrit Henriks, and also a half house at the Hof van Gulik, the other half of which is owned by the widow of Lucas Prinsen, and occupied by Egbert Kiekebos.5
