     Fredericus Van Orden was born on 15 December 1798.1 He was baptized on 1 January 1799 at Tappan, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Fredericus Haring and Annetje Haring; father Petrus Van Orden, mother Marragrietje Haring.)1,4 He (1) married Catriena Haring, daughter of Abraham Haring and Maria Blauvelt, on 24 April 1819 at Tappan (DRC) (Frederickus Van Orden of Hempstead and Catrina Haring of Tappan.)5,6,7 Fredericus Van Orden (2) married Martha Conklin on 29 April 1830.2,3,7 Fredericus Van Orden died on 24 October 1888.8 He was buried in Monsey Cemetery.8,3,9,10
