Joshua Leonard (1712)

Joshua Leonard was born 13 May 1712 in Norton, MA, ninth child of George Leonard and Anna Tisdale. He died six weeks later on June 29. He was my son-in-law’s seventh great-grand-uncle.

While his short life was unremarkable, I did discover a error in his eldest sister’s birth date: I had Phoebe born in 1686, 6 years before her parents marriage, when her mother was 14 years old. It turned out to be a simple typo, she was born in 1696. But it shows the importance of revisiting your data, you never know where a typo has crept in.
