     Helena Elisabeth Potthoff was born s 1715 in Bad Rothenfelde (Hörste.)1,2 She married Balts Hinrich Meyer zu Bakum, son of Peter Meyer zu Bakum and Catharina Margarethe Meyer zu Belm, on 21 Jul 1739.2,3,4,1 She died in 1753 in Melle (Bakum) shortly after childbirth.5,2

     In 1753 Balts Hinrich Meyer zu Bakum paid 30 thaler at the death of his 2nd wife Helena; in 1757 20 thaler for his 3rd marriage to Catharina Margaretha Dallmeyer.6
