     Thomas Jenkins received a patent in Lancaster County on 30 Jan 1739.
The warrant and the survey were dated 10 Jan 1739. The area was a little over 128 acres, and located near Cocoosing Creek. A Francis Creek is mentioned with a warrant date of 12 Mar 1734, but could not separately be located in the index. On 4 Dec 1745 he received another patent for 49 acres in Cumru Township, the warrant was issued 28 Jul 1744.3,1

Thomas Jenkins made a will on 18 Mar 1770.
After recommending his soul into the hands of God, and ordering his debts to be paid, he leaves to his wife Lettice one-third of all his belongings, as well as her bed, with the furnishings and blankets. Anything left after her death, will go to his son Hur. To his children Ann Smith, David Jenkins, Martha Cox and Thomas Jenkins he leaves one shilling sterling each. He leaves to his son John Jenkins the rest of his estate. He appoints Hur Jenkins and Thomas Jenkins as executors.
Will made in Roan County, NC. Thomas signs with a mark.4
His will was probated in Nov 1771 at Guilford County Court. John Jenkins and Thomas Jenkins Jr. were present.4
