     Jesse Jenkins was born on 17 Oct 1766 in Camden District or District 96, South Carolina.1,2,3 He married Hannah Russell, daughter of Samuel Russell and Rosanna Pearson, on 8 Jun 1797 at Newberry County, South Carolina.2 He died on 22 Nov 1825 in Concord Township, Ohio,1,2, and was buried in the Old Concord Cemetery at Monroe Township.4
