FatherIan Franssen Montenac1 * s 1605

Mouwerijntge was baptized (NH) on 25 Jun 1635 at Rotterdam. Sponsors were Anna van Nuffelen and Iannetge Gerets.1

Other information:

A Mourijntje/Marcijntje Montenack has two children baptised in Leiden: Lijsbet (bap. NH 6 Mar 1663, daughter of Jan van Eecken and Mourijntje Montenack, witn.: Lijsbet Goderus and Frans Montenack); and Anna (bap. NH 5 Mar 1665, daughter of Jan van Eecke and Marcijntje Montenack, witn.: Gijsbert Pietersz, Grietje Arents, and Metje Henrickx). In view of the fact that Lijsbet Goderus is a witness at the baptism of the first child, it seems logical that she is Mourijntje's mother. No marriage found with Jan van Eecke in Leiden.2
Mouwerijntge (x Jan van Eecke) and Maurijntge (x Joris Box/Becks) are definitely different people. Possibly they are cousins. It is also not clear, whether Mouwerijntge is the same as the one, who is a witness at the baptism of Tanneke's son Hermanus in New York City on 5 Sep 1666. It is possible she came to America after the baptism of Anna on 5 Mar 1665, but no passenger lists are known, and she does not seem to have left any other records in the US.
