     John Bedient was born on 28 May 1695 in Fairfield, Connecticut.2 He married Mary Morehouse, daughter of Thomas Morehouse and Mary, on 28 May 1723 at Fairfield, Connecticut.3,1,4 He died in 1761 in Wilton, Connecticut.2

Other information:

     In 1723 John and Mary moved to Wilton, Connecticut where he is supposed to have built the "Old Bedient Homestead." All eleven of the children were born in this house. It was located on Hurlburt Street and was still standing in 1987. A postcard dated 1909 shows the house and another was taken by Jean Bedient of Gerry, NY in 1987.2
     Possibly there was another son, Elezar, who fought in Revolutionary War, he joined 2 Aug 1781, Capt. Chas. Smith Co.2
