     Thomas Morehouse was born in 1674 in Stratford, Connecticut.2 He married Mary.3,2 He died on 6 Sep 1748 in Westport, Connecticut.3,1

     Thomas was listed in the June 1745 census in Wilton Parish, Norwalk, Connecticut, with his wife Mary, and three children: Elisha, Hannah and Betty.3
Thomas Morehouse made a will on 13 Feb 1747/48. It was probated 4 Oct 1748.
He mentions his wife Mary, his sons John, Thomas and Elisha and his daughters Mary, Sarah, Thankful, Hannah and Elizabeth. Executor his wife Mary and son Elisha. Witnesses James Fitch, Jr., Sarah Hanford and Elnathan Hanford, page 519. Inventory taken Sept. 28, 1748, by Nathaniel Burwell, and Asahel Raymond, and filed Nov., 1, 1748 (pg 520. Vol 9.)4

     According to Settlers of the Beekman Patent, Thomas was b. c 1680 in Fairfield, CT. When he made his will he was 'late of Norwalk.' Mary died 28 Jun 1761. She may have been the daughter of Jehu Burr, b. 19 Aug 1783.
