Lupke Epkes married Frouwe, daughter of Melle and Rewen.1,2
Other information:
From what I see on the Internet, is it not clear if the son of Eppo Memmes and the husband of Frouwe Melles are the same person. According to Pieke van der Schaaf they are the same (in 2006). Anne Beukema (in the Groningen Genealogie group, 2006) thinks they are not related, because Lupke Eppens is a lot older than the other children of Eppo Memmens. Henk Wolda names tha father-in-law of Frouwe "Eppe Lupkens"; could he be a brother of Rensche Luppes, the wife of Eppo Mennes? But in Henk Wolda's webpage the oldest generations do not look correct: the same children are listed under Lupke N. (#43784) as under Lupke Eppens (#10946).
Aijso Ipens, Tammo Nannes and Haijo Epkens are named as guardians over the children of Memmo Eppens in 1602. In 1611 Tammo is named as a grandson of Lupke Epkes, and Phebo Aisens (son of Aise Ipens?) as his childs-child; if Memmo has minor children in 1602, he would be a lot younger as Lupke Epkes, whose grandchild is one of the guardians.
Lupke Epkes doesn't seem to have a daughter Rensche, which you would expect if he was a son of Eppe Memmes and Rensche was (but she could have died young).3,4
