     Aaltjen was from Almelo at her marriage.1 She married (NH) Gerrit Hendriksen Donkermans on 9 Aug 1692 in Almelo1,3 (banns 24 Jul 1692, Almelo).1

Aaltjen Wolterssen ten Bruggencate, widow of Gerrit Donkelman, with her guardian Jan Bakker, takes out a mortgage with Berend Holtman and his wife and heirs. As collateral she gives her quarter portion of her house, of which another quarter belongs to her brother Hendrik ten Bruggenkate, together a half house, between the half house of Hermke ten Bruggencate and the house of Cornelis Trovest.2

Aaltjen Wolterssen ten Bruggencate, widow of Gerrit Denkelman, for herself and as mother and guardian over her minor daughter Henrina Denkelman with her guardian Jan Bakker, and Henrik Tusvelt and Jurrien Wanschers as guardians over the child, and also Hendrikjen ten Hoeve wed. Henrik Wolters, for herself and as mother an dguardian over het minor son Wolter ten Bruggenkate with her guardian Jan Bakker, and Evert Willemsen and Jurrien Willemsen as guardians over the child, and Berend Pastoors and his wife Fenneken Bolk convey to Jan ten Cate Gerritszn and his wife Aaltjen van Lochem and their heirs, their house and land, between the house of Baerent Pastoors and that of Cornelis Troost.3


Name variants: Aalken Wolters wed. Gerrit Denkelman (patronymic, in a deed).3 The widow Gerrit Donkelman (in a mortgage).4 Hendrik ten Bruggenkate was the brother of Aaltjen Wolterssen ten Bruggencate.2
