     Elma Elizabeth Broughton was born on 24 Jul 1904 in Proton Township, Ontario.3,2 She married Gerrit Bruggencate, son of Herman Bruggencate and Marie Elizabeth Oueil, on 24 Aug 1927 in the house of the bride's parents, southeast of Coronation.4,2 She died on 24 Nov 1987 in Burnaby, British Columbia. L. E. Hahn registered the death5, and was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Burnaby.3,2

Other information: She and Gerrit Bruggencate moved in 1934 to Cold Lake District, and in 1954 to Burnaby, British Columbia.1,6 Her parents were Thomas George Broughton and Mary Elizabeth Wilson.2 Elma Bruggencate.3
