     Anna Whitney was born on 26 Jul 1796 in Wallingford, Connecticut.1 She married Preserved Pickering on 24 Dec 1818 at Gibson Township, Pennsylvania.1 She died on 19 Apr 1875 in Gibson Township, Pennsylvania,2,3, and was buried in the Union Hill Cemetery Cemetery at Gibson Township.2
