Francis was born in 1610 in England.1 She (1) married ? Clark.2 She (2) married Thomas Dewey, son of Thomas Dewey Sr., on 22 Mar 1638/39 at Windsor, Connecticut.2,3 She (3) married George Phelps on 2 Nov 1648 at Windsor, Connecticut.2 She died on 27 Sep 1690 in Westfield, Massachusetts.1

Other information:

Many secondary sources identify Francis' first husband as Joseph Clark, of Windsor, but that has been disproven by Clarence A. Torrey in 1928. Her parents are erroneously identified as Phillip Randall and Joane Fush; she is apparently not mentioned in Phillip's will. 4,1
Great Migration also does not mention her as a daughter of Philip. George Phelps first wife is a Randall.52,6,7
A George Phelps is listed on the B-list of the Mary & John 8 as 20 yr old, probably from Dorset or Somerset. (see also Mary&John). However, the Phelps website9 is sure this is not this George Phelps, and that he came somewhat later.
"George Phelps is believed to be the George P__?__ aboard the Recovery of London with Gabriel Cornish as its master, sailing from Weymouth in Dorsetshire to New England March 31, 1634. The ship sailed into Massachusetts Bay in late June of July 1634; and it was very likely one of the fourteen said to have arrived that June."

DNA research has established that the George Phelps, immigrant ancestor of the Phelps Family, is not related to the Wiiliam Phelps, who came on the Mary & John with his brother George. So, even though the Mary&John lists this George as (2) married to Francis, who second married Thomas Dewey, this is unlikely to be true.7

Name variants: Francis Clark (married name.)2 Frances Randall (but this is not true.)1
