Geertje Nydam was in 1915 a stitcher, and in 1930 a weaver in a silk mill.2,3 She immigrated with Wietze Nijdam and Neeltje Klomp on the Caledonia, from Glasgow (20 May 1905), arrivin in New York on 29 May 1905/. His contact was his brother Reinder Nydam.
