Garret Brolsma was born on 15 December 1865 in Het Bildt, Friesland, The Netherlands.2,3,1 He married Jessie Wymer Brolsma in 1896.4,1,3 Garret Brolsma died on 26 July 1949 in Meijer Sanitorium, Park Ridge, Bergen County, New Jersey.1 He was buried in Ridgewood (Valleau Cemetery.)1

His parents were Klaas Brolsma and Trijntje de Bildt. He also had a twin brother Abraham.2 Garret Brolsma immigrated in 1895.5
