Her parents were Paulus Mastenbroek and Aaltje Vlasblom.3 Pietertje Griek immigrated on the Noordam, from Rotterdam, arriving in New York on May 4, 1916, with four children: Pietertje (9), Paulus (8), Tjalling (3) and Meindert (1). She was going to her husband M. Griek in 130 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey. Her contact in Holland was her father P. Mastenbroek, Zwijndrechtse straat, Rotterdam.4,1
