Peter Hartog immigrated in 1898.2,3 He was a messenger for an express co in 1910.2 He appeared on the 1900 census in Park Ave (#142), Hawthorne Borough, Passaic County, New Jersey, as a boarder in the houshold of Barnard and Elisabeth Faddegun (sp?), who both were born in Holland, as were their two adult children.1
