Her parents were Pieter Huisman and Klaartje Witte.1 Cornelius P. Maas and Jantje C. Maas immigrated on the Potsdam, from Rotterdam (Mar 20, 1909), arriving in New York on 31 Mar 1909, with seven children: Cornelis (17), Willemina Kl. (15), Klaartje W. (14), Jacob (10), Jannetje (9), Maria (8) and Johannes (1). They were going to his brother H. W. Verbaarschal, 17 Watson Street, Paterson. Last residence was Texel, contact his father Pieter Maas.2
