Jacob Griep was born on 2 December 1895 in Yerseke, Zuid Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.2 He died on 12 October 1918.1
He enlisted in Hackensack, New Jersey on 26 June 1916. He served Company G, 114 Inf. from that date until his death. He was sent overseas on June 15, 1918, and was killed in action in October.1
