     Jacob Bolk was born in Stad Almelo.2 He was baptized (NH) on 17 May 1772 in Almelo.1 He married Catharina Femina Buissant des Amorie, daughter of Abraham Buissant and Geertruij Mollink, on 20 Jan 1797 in Stad Almelo2,3,4 (banns (Gericht) 30 Dec 1796, Stad Almelo, also in the Mennonite Church.)2,5 They were married in Delden5 According to the baptismal listing in Bk 3, they married 1 Jan 1797, but that is the date of the first banns (see bk 5, pg. 1.)5,6
