     Lambert ten Bruggenkate was baptized (NH) on 14 Feb 1759 in Almelo.3 He married (NH) Hendrica Bokdam on 29 May 1802 in Almelo1,2 (banns (Gericht) 7 May 1802, Stad Almelo.)1 He died on 16 Feb 1811 in the house next to Gerrit Mokkelencate Jansz Jz. in Stad Almelo. Hendrica Bokdam was the witness2,4 One child survived him.2

He was a storekeeper.5 He was mentioned in the will of Harmen ten Bruggencate and Fenneken Stromeijer on 1 Jul 1790.6 He was mentioned in the will of Harmen ten Bruggencate on 27 Jun 1797.7
Lambert ten Bruggenkate and Hendrica Bokdam with her guardian Mr. Dolleman made a will on 9 Mar 1803. They rescind their previous wills. They name each other as sole heir. The survivor is obligated to raise the children properly, and give them an 'uitzet' at majority or marriage. It the survivor remarries, he will have to account before 2 witnesses of the deceased's family, for the sake of the children, for their inheritance. If testatrix dies first without children, her parents will get their legal portion. Testator wishes to leave ƒ200.- to his sister Janna ten Bruggencate, married to Albert Hagedoorn, if she wants to leave him and the stepchildren.8
