Aaltjen ten Getkate was from in Hengelo at her marriage.3 She (1) married Berent Jansen ter Haar, son of ? ter Haar and Jennegien.2,1 She (2) married (NH) Isaak ten Bruggencate, son of Herman ten Bruggencate and Marijke, on 4 Feb 1720 in Almelo1 (banns (NH) 14 Jan 1720, Almelo.)1 She died on 12 Aug 1774 in Almelo.4 She was buried on 18 Aug 1774 in Almelo.4

Berent Jansen ter Haar and Aaltjen ten Getkate with her guardian Dr. Liens made a will in 1719. They name each other as heir. Testator leaves his mother Jennegien, wife of ? ter Haar her legal portion, and gives ƒ50.- to his sister Mariken ter Haar. Testatrix leaves her mother Berentien Niehof, widow of Mens ten Getkate, her legal portion.2
Isaak ten Bruggencate and Aaltjen ten Getkate with her guardian Dr. Georg Hendrik Hein made a will on 3 Apr 1764. They name as sole heir their four still living children, namely Fenneke ten Bruggenkate,Maria ten Bruggenkate married to Albert Stemberg, Jenneken ten Bruggenkate, married to Berent ten Bruggenkate Benjzn, and Baerent ten Bruggencate. They give in advance to Fenneke ten Bruggenkate, because she stayed with them and ran de store for them, ƒ1000.-- Car. gld. Whomever of the heirs does not agree, will only get his legal portion.5 She was mentioned in the will of Baerent ten Bruggencate and Jenneken ten Bruggenkate on 13 Oct 1772.6
